When I compile my programs,I get a message that the class is not found (even though it is there). I find I have to rename my files so that the order of the compilation is different. Is there something I have to set in JBuilder so that it does not compile in alphabetic order of source file names?

You have to ensure that the class can be found by adding the full qualified classname (package+classname) to the searchpath of JBuilder. JB searches classes

  1. in the source-directories (src and test) of the current project,

  2. in the class-directory of the current project,

  3. in the libraries of the current project and in the JDKs libs.
