In the mail content,I wanted to know whether we would be able to set

the font ,size,Bold and Italic from our program.

If we are able to set it,Will the receivers mail client

program override our settings ?

Any help would be appreciated

What if the receiver's mail client is set to only display plain text? or not render HTML, or use its own styles, etc. Hopefully a good mail reader application will allow these settings.

I guess I am old-fashioned by now, as I still hate formatted email, personally, whether it's HTML or Microsoft RTF or Notes or Andrew ATK or Scribe or whatever ... I only want to see the raw text, so I end up seeing the raw markup tags, and cursing the sender :-) I don't like attachments either, unless they are really necessary, which they usually aren't :-)

Also I find it's often a good indicator of something being spam (UCE), or other useless junk -- the more formatting an email message contains, the less useful it's likely to be.
