How do I specify command-line arguments and/or system properties to my application?

Scott Stanchfield

You can specify command-line arguments for an application by selecting "Properties" from the popup menu for your application class, and go to the "Program" tab of the properties dialog. Type the command line arguments in the field at the top of the Program page in this dialog. Note that you just specify String arguments as you would on the command line, without quotes and without the name of the application.

You can also specify any system properties (properties available to all classes in the application) you might need here. If you were using a command-line VM like the JDK, you would specify

-DpropName=propValue
on the java command line; here you specify these properties in the box in the middle of the Program page. Do not add the -D; just specify propName=propValue.
