How can a JSP on server X access/create a remote EJB running on another server Y?

Alessandro A. Garbagnati

J2EE has been designed for a distributed architecture and if the application server and the servlet container follows Sun's specifications you should not have any problem in achieving this.

Through JNDI and RMI your web application can lookup for the required EJB(s) and it will get back the home interface. Using that one you can search, delete or create a new bean, and have full access to it through their remote interface.
