What is Jiro?
Jiro technology is an implementation of the Federated Management Architecture specification. FMA is a standard for communication between applications, services and devices across a heterogeneous network. Jiro provides developers with the infrastructure to build interoperable and automated storage management solutions. As an extension to the Java platform, Jiro technology defines an operating system independent environment in which any developer or vendor can build and implement their resource management software.
