How do I test my program for how accessible it is?
John Zukowski Sun provides the Java Access Bridge for Microsoft Windows users, with programs like Monkey and Ferret to see how well you've designed your graphical programs to take advantage of assistive technologies. It installs a shared library into the runtime such that other applications started from the same Java Runtime can be tracked. Monkey gives a dump of the component tree and offers information available to the Accessibility API for each component. Ferret is more of a tracking program, showing when different events happen in the system.
