Is it possible to have a central repository supporting some users running VAJ 2 and other users running VAJ 3?

Kevin Hollenshead

Yes it is possible and we have been doing this for many months now. You must first perform the following procedure. If you don't and proceed with the install, I observed _very_ strange behavior from my VAJ 3.0 workspace.

From a VisualAge 2.0 workspace, connect to your shared repository. Then import in the core VisualAge 3.0 projects (IBM Java Implementation, Sun PM class libraries, etc.) from the .DAT file on the VisualAge CD into your shared repository. Afterwards, you can install VisualAge 3.0 onto a new machine connected to the repository.
