What is the JPDA?

John Mitchell

The JPDA is the Java Platform Debugger Architecture. That is to say that it's a set of APIs which provide the infrastructure to build debugger applications in Java.

The JPDA comprises the Java Debug Interface (JDI), the Java Debug Wire Protocol (JDWP), and the Java Virtual Machine Debug Interface (JVMDI).
