What is the OMG?

The Object Management Group (OMG) is the group responsible for defining CORBA. The OMG comprises over 700 companies and organizations, including almost all the major vendors and developers of distributed object technology, including platform vendors, database vendors, software tool developers, corporate developers and software application vendors.
